About Me

 I'm an author, writing in the hours stolen from my everyday life . My debut novel, Elanraigh: The Vow, a Y.A. Fantasy was published by Eternal Press, Feb 7/2012 (see Eternalpress.biz) and is available at Amazon, B & N, and others as either print or e-book. I've lived all my life in the Pacific Northwest, so oceans and forests find their way into all my realities. I enjoy writing short fiction also, my fantasy short stories have appeared in pro publications; "Prevailing Winds" in On Spec;  "And the Coyotes Sang") in Spinetinglers  2011 Anthology available at Amazon.com I’ve also published poetry in Gaslight, Women and Recovery and Lynx. I'm a member of SF Canada, the Burnaby Writers Society and a local Parksville group, Writers in Progress. I so value the friendship and support I’ve found in these groups.

Why am I Here?

I hope to share in this blog, “a journal” of thoughts, for others to see…do I really tell you of the pacing, moaning, scribbling, pouring through reference books and media, coffee drinking, wine drinking, and then the blessed moments when the flow hits and the fingers just fly over the keys.

Oh but it's more than that—I hope that as I learn to hone skills as a writer, and enjoy reading the works of others—I can share that with you—and that you will share your interests and comments as well.
